Max Franchitto is the Founder and Managing Principal of MGF Consulting Group (est. 1999) . He also founded BuildYourBoard (est 2010) as an advisory service specialising in Corporate Governance and Board development advice; see (www.buildyourboard.com.au).
Prior to establishing MGFCG, Max gained his initial experience (18+ years in executive management) with significant management achievements in the financial services industry. He has extensive experience in General management, Distribution channel management, Marketing and Operations management, particularly in the financial services sector.
Max now consults to a variety of industry sectors based on his experience in Business performance improvement, Strategic management, Corporate Governance & Boardroom protocols, Mergers and Acquisitions, his clients inevitably come back to him given his work ethic and dedication to the tasks he performs and the quality of the outcomes he delivers.
Max has advised over 400 SME’s directly or indirectly and worked with hundreds of SME Owners and Corporate Executives (C-Suite) during his consulting career (since 1999). His focus is on sustainable growth through strategies to gain and retaining customers for your business.

Max holds a Bachelors Degree (Flinders Uni. SA.) in Politics & Economics, an MBA (University of SA & Macquarie GSM). He holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies (UNSW Law School) in Corporate Governance, Contracts and IP Law. He received the Macquarie University, Graduate School of Management “Brambles Management Prize” (1995), he attended Harvard Business School (Boston, MA) to specialise his studies in Service & Customer retention management. Max also has a Professional Certificate in Arbitration (Adelaide Uni. Law School) and is a practitioner in commercial Mediation & Arbitration.
He has been a past Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (SA) and a Fellow Certified Practising Marketer (FCPM) with the Australian Institute of Marketing. He is currently an Adjunct Lecturer in the MBA topic “Governance, Ethics & Sustainability” and ” People Culture & Contemporary Leadership” at Kaplan Business School (SA).
Max has held a number of Directorships, including Chairman on Not-for-Profit Boards.
